made from sweets in wrappers go on show
A Malaysian museum is displaying dresses made
from sweets in their wrappers.The 20 outfits are on display in the
Malaysia First Sweets Dress Display at the National Museum in Kuala
Lumpur.
A museum spokeswoman told Ananova students from
a fashion design college in the city made them as part of their
course.The outfits took 250 days to complete. Over 200,000 sweets
were used to make them.
The students made wire frames before hand-sewing
the sweet wrappers together and fitting the outfits on dummies to
make sure they kept their shape. —DT
